D - Game Organization for the Jasper Camp
Key Points:
Play 3 cross ice games at once. Six one net games at once, two nets on each goal line. Combine the way you use the nets. Basic principle is the larger the team the more group activity and the smaller the team the more individual activity.
Description:
1 - Cross ice one net games, two pass, bounce off boards or pass to resting teammate.
2 - Puck or different balls at each game. Switch balls every 5 minutes.
3 - Passing rules, 2-3 passes, 2" with puck, one touch, only forehand, backhand, saucer.
4 - You must make an escape move before a pass or shot, only one pass allowed.
5 – The older group played 8-8 full ice with the rule there must be at least one pass in each zone.
