Sad but a good idea. There are more "pros" than "cons" with this program in my opinion... funny how we have to encourage "uncommon sense" these days... I heard today that numerous other associations and provincial branches have contacted Hockey Calgary as they have heard about it... this might become the norm across Canada. If it helps one kid, official, coach or parent, it is worth it. Society is slipping towards more disrespect, and unfortunately, legislating stuff like this slows the rate at which it decays! I am still amazed at the amount of disrespect and bullying / harassment I see as a coach, teacher and bystander.
