As a coach I feel obligated to admire Brett Favre in the National League Championship game last night. He was beat on all game getting flattened after the pass about 20 times and got injured when one Saint hit up and the other down and then twisted his leg under. He got taped and gutted it out and probably would have run if he had any legs left instead of pass. That is being competitive and giving everything you have.

Toughest performance I have seen since Joe Kapp played in the Super Bowl many years ago and wouldn't quit.
