Play a full ice game with the rule that you must pass to the open player. It is controlled by the coach who will whistle and stop the play to point out passing options.
The basic rule is: When you get the puck you quickly skate to open ice. If a teammate is in a better position than you and is open for a pass then pass. If you have space to move and no one is in better position than you then you carry the puck.
Options when you get the puck are:
1. Make a play.
2. Regroup if no space ahead.
3. Gain a zone if you have no space and there are no passing options.
